Daniel Veasy, along with fellow Arts Educators from Walker Elementary S.O.T.A. produces the It Takes 3 CD, a bi-product of a tri-county initiative to educate youth as well as promote and fund the Arts.
April – 2004
Daniel Veasy establishes SSB Invest in the Arts, a not-for-profit corporation.
August – 2004
Daniel Veasy creates the Student Education thru Arts Training (S.E.A.T.) Program, a product of SSB Invest in the Arts.
March – 2005
SSB Invest in the Arts enters into partnership with Mount Olive Development Corporation (MODCO), a faith-based non-profit corporation, the Alliance for Community Transformation (A.C.T.), a community-based non-profit corporation, and the Children’s Services Council (CSC) of Broward County to fund and provide the communities of Broward County with the S.E.A.T. Program.
February – 2007
SSB Invest in the Arts develops the Life Enrichment & Artistic Development (L.E.A.D.) Program.
May – 2008
SSB Invest in the Arts reorganizes the Student Education thru Arts Training (S.E.A.T.) Program (a summer Arts-Education program) into the Student Enrichment thru Arts Training (S.E.A.T.) Program, a year-round Arts-Enrichment program provided by MODCO, A.C.T., B & G Club, and CSC.
August – 2008
SSB Invest in the Arts enters into partnership with Body & Soul Dance Academy (a dance-based educational youth program) and the Theatrical Learning Club (T.L.C.) to provide the Theatrical Learning Program (a theater-based educational youth program).
September – 2009
SSB Invest in the Arts’ SEAT Program has its Contract with CSC and MODCO Renewed for another term.
January – 2010
SSB Invest in the Arts initiates its “For Youth & Arts” Campaign
